If the file was not created with the Construction Add-in ©:
When opening the file, this dialog box will appear :
Under the Construction tab, use the Reset button 
in the Tools group which allows incorporating all the required fields, tables, and required displays to use the Construction Add-in © buttons.
Your file will be saved automatically to register the construction add-in. If you have a read-only file you will need to save the file under a new name.
If the file was created with an old version of the Construction Add-in ©:
When opening the file, this dialog box will appear :
In the Construction tab, use the Reset button 
in the Tools group which allows incorporating all the required fields, tables, and required displays to use the Construction Add-in buttons.
When it is done, this window will show to indicate that the reset procedure is complete and file is saved. If you have a read-only file you will need to save the file under a new name.
